A letter to CCMCC from a greatful Certified Clinical Medical Assistant:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Contra Costa Medical Career College for a GREAT educational experience. Finding CCMCC was definitly a blessing! Living in the South Bay Area and making the commute to CCMCC was a small price to pay for the accomplishment that I have achieved. In just a few months and at a fraction of the cost of competing colleges, I became a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.

My teacher, Nicole McCain, really prepared me for a career in medicine. Not only did she pass down her knowledge from her many years of experience, she was a motivator and never once forgot to acknowledge the potential she saw in me. Mindi Orozco, externship coordinator, made sure that I was placed into an externship site quickly after class ended. She found a site that I preferred and made sure it was close to home. Throughout my externship, Mindi made sure she was available to offer her support and advice. She kept me going in the right direction. In fact, I was offered a job at my externship site.

In only five months, I completed a Clinical Medical Assisting course, passed the National Certification Exam, finished my externship and landed a job. Thank you so much CCMCC for providing a GREAT college and helping me make a life changing career move!

Sincerely,

Candice Barnes, CCMA
